Privacy Policy

This site, brandonburdette.com, is the personal website of Brandon Burdette, an SEO and AI automation consultant in El Segundo, California. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and the choices you have.
What this site collects
- Analytics data. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and interactions such as use of the free tools. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish visitors.
- Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, the name, email address, company, and message you provide are relayed by FormSubmit, a form processing service, and delivered to Brandon by email. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry.
- Your privacy choice. Your analytics opt-out preference is stored in your browser's local storage under the key bb-ccpa. It never leaves your device.
What this site does not do
- No data is sold to third parties.
- No advertising or remarketing pixels run on this site.
- The free tools (SERP preview, schema generator) run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is transmitted or stored anywhere.
Your opt-out rights
California's CCPA/CPRA and similar laws in a growing number of states give residents the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Analytics data sharing with Google can fall under some definitions of sharing, so this site treats the opt out broadly: use the consent banner, or the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of any page, and Google Analytics is disabled for your browser on every page of this site.
Third-party services
- Google Analytics 4 (analytics). See Google's privacy policy. Analytics retention is configured at the property level.
- FormSubmit (contact form relay). See FormSubmit's privacy policy.
- Vercel (hosting). Standard server logs may include IP addresses. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts (typefaces). Font files are requested from Google's servers, which receive standard request metadata.
Access and deletion requests
To ask what information is held about you, or to request deletion of a contact form submission, send a message through the contact form and it will be handled promptly.
Changes
If the site's data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised.
