Ad Preview Tool

Drop in your creative and copy, then see every Google, Bing, Meta, and LinkedIn placement rendered the way the platform will actually render it, on phone, desktop, and tablet, with the character limits checked live.

About this tool

Most ad copy gets approved in a spreadsheet and rejected by reality. A 45 character LinkedIn carousel headline is a hard cap, not a suggestion. Meta collapses primary text behind "See more" at roughly 125 characters on mobile, 140 on tablet, and 160 on desktop. Google and Microsoft assemble your headlines and descriptions into a search ad you never see fully composed until it is live. This tool renders all of it in the same device frames the ad will run in, so the truncation, the wrapping, and the layout shifts show up before the campaign does.

A few habits are worth building on top of it. Front-load the hook in the first line, because every feed placement cuts from the right and every scroll cuts from the bottom. Keep heavy text off display and native creative: Google and Microsoft composite your logo, headlines, description, and call to action over the layout themselves, so text baked into the image reads as a duplicate at best and a policy problem at worst. Check the vertical placements on mobile specifically, since Stories and Reels lose the top 14 percent and bottom 20 percent of the frame to platform interface. Everything here runs locally in your browser, so nothing you upload leaves the page.

I build small utilities like this one for paid and organic teams who would rather catch a problem in ten seconds than in a rejection email. If your team could use purpose built tooling, internal dashboards, audit scripts, or AI workflows shaped around the way you actually run campaigns, tell me what you are working on.
